Retrofitted Emission Control Devices

Retrofitting DG sets with an emission control technology is a possible way to reduce emissions from DG sets and improve the air quality. We are also glad to inform you that the honorable National Green Tribunal (NGT) has taken notice of the emissions from diesel generators. As per the Original Application No. 681/2018 in the honorable National Green Tribunal, NGT has instructed all states and UTs to ensure that emissions from DG sets are reduced by using a retrofit technology, with a minimum of 70% efficiency.
